Gender in dance. Baal Dansa already presented their latest show, Crotch, last September within the context of the Fira B! professional fair in a packed Sala Petita. Crotch is a dance theatre show that speaks about gender, sexual violence, inequality and various forms of sexual identity. It aims to break down the male/female dichotomy and stereotypes imposed by a heteropatriarchal consumer society. With the participation of professionals and non-professionals, it has the clear-cut goal of putting local people on the stage to tell their stories, all of which are real. For that reason as well as its provocative, vanguard, physical language, the audience will be bowled over by their proposal. With the support of Fira Tàrrega, Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics, Govern de les Illes Balears, El Graner and L´Estruch.
